The Purchase Act's defect rules may apply. As a consumer, if you have purchased goods, you have, in accordance with the provisions of the Sales Act, a 24-month right of complaint on all goods. However, for goods with a limited lifespan, your right of complaint is limited to the usual shelf life for the goods in question.

At Lemus, you have a 3-year warranty on your Lemus HOME audio furniture, so you can complain about any faults and defects up to 36 months from the date of purchase. The warranty covers faults and defects that were present, or the cause was present, when the product was received.

Burden of proof

In certain cases, there may be doubts as to whether a fault is covered by the guarantee. If the defect appears within the first 6 months, the defect is presumed to have been present at the time of handover, and it is the seller who must prove the opposite. For the remaining 30 months, it is basically the buyer who must reimburse this.

If the item has a defect

If you believe that your product suffers from a defect, this will be rectified by having your product repaired by authorized professionals, but in certain cases other solutions may also be considered (cf. the Purchase Act).

You must be aware that it is not a defect if the fault is due to wear, improper use (e.g. contrary to the instructions for use) or external influences (e.g. lightning strike). In these cases, you must cover the costs of any repairs yourself.

In connection with examinations of your item, Lemus or an authorized Lemus repairer has the right to charge a fee. The amount of the fee is stated upon submission and must be paid by you if it turns out that the fault is not covered by the warranty.

To submit an item for repair, you must contact the place of purchase and be able to present the original receipt/proof of purchase.

If you discover an error or deficiency in a purchased item, you as a consumer must contact as soon as possible and within a reasonable time and explain what the error or deficiency consists of. does not vouch for guarantees given by third parties.

Complaints can be made by contacting us by phone or email. If the product suffers from a fault or defect, will seek to repair the product or alternatively carry out redelivery, if this does not result in disproportionate costs for

If we do not manage to reach an agreement, you can lodge a complaint with the Consumer Complaints Board, if the conditions for this are met, see
